Photos by Q recently partnered with The CIty Mission to help sponser the 3rd annual Spring into Life Luncheon & Fashion Show at Signature of Solon on April 4, 2009. This was Photos by Q’s second year in helping to sponser the event which helps raise funds for Laura’s home. This year’s event was hosted by Kimberly Gill of News Channel 5.

According to Jim Whiteman, Chief Development Officer, the event helped increase awarness of Laura’s Home and the women it serves, and raised about $20,000 for the cause. The event was attended by 425 people and was sold out over two weeks in advance!

In addition to Photos by Q, other sponsers included Viginia Marte College of Art and Design, WVWV 107.3, MIMI Vanderhaven, The Studio, Custom Care MD, LLC, Arabica of Bainbridge, Signature of Solon, and Chico’s.

The event was highlighted by a fashion show modeling the latest styles provided by Chico’s and a silent auction and raffle of many different dontations from all over N.E. Ohio.

I look forward to doing this event every year and cannot put into words what a positive event this is. It is very exciting to watch people inact positive change in their lives and wonderful to be able to share the gift of photograpy for the good of others.
