Photos by Q recently partnered with The CIty Mission to help sponser the 3rd annual Spring into Life Luncheon & Fashion Show at Signature of Solon on April 4, 2009. This was Photos by Q’s second year in helping to sponser the event which helps raise funds for Laura’s home. This year’s event was hosted by Kimberly Gill of News Channel 5.

According to Jim Whiteman, Chief Development Officer, the event helped increase awarness of Laura’s Home and the women it serves, and raised about $20,000 for the cause. The event was attended by 425 people and was sold out over two weeks in advance!

In addition to Photos by Q, other sponsers included Viginia Marte College of Art and Design, WVWV 107.3, MIMI Vanderhaven, The Studio, Custom Care MD, LLC, Arabica of Bainbridge, Signature of Solon, and Chico’s.

The event was highlighted by a fashion show modeling the latest styles provided by Chico’s and a silent auction and raffle of many different dontations from all over N.E. Ohio.

I look forward to doing this event every year and cannot put into words what a positive event this is. It is very exciting to watch people inact positive change in their lives and wonderful to be able to share the gift of photograpy for the good of others. Its a great piece of software that will allow users to experiement with photo editing and get more enjoyment from their digital camera.

Randi & Angelo’s Wedding Sept 6, 2008

Randi and Angelo had a very elegant affair on Saturday, Sept. 6th 2008. The wedding was a great event from the planning right down to all the events, everyone had a wonderful time and we created some great images from the day.

I enjoyed spending the day with them and meeting the extended of their family; it was a pleasure to serve both of you and I can’t wait for you to return to check out the photos from the day.

Lana Perhacs of Mystic Image Video was awarded The Merited Professional Videographer Award by the Wedding and Event Videographers Association.  
WEVA MPV accreditation is a way to recognize the professional wedding and event videographer who is uniquely dedicated to his or her craft and to the success of a vital and growing creative service industry.
The MPV accreditation program offers this special recognition to WEVA International members who demonstrate their abilities by passing an industry-specific written examination and video image evaluations; and who regularly update their professional skills, both in conceptual and practical performance.
Photos by Q was requested to create a portrait for publication in WEVA publications to highlight this event and congradulates Lana on this outstanding accomplishment.

JoseV presented An Affair to Remember at the Galleria at Erieview though host Artist Review Today on April 25-26, 2008.
Jose’s work is an exciting line of art inspired by actual rhythms of the heart mixed with contemportary styles and designs.  Food, drinks, dancing and entertainment really made for “An Affair to Remember”.  Photos by Q is proud to have sponsered this event and help JoseV produce his first show. Photos by Q is a proud sponser for the Spring Into Life Fashion Show to benifit Laura’s Home with the City Mission, 107.3 The Wave, Cleveland Magazine, SIgnature of Solon, Viginia Marti College, Buisness and Professional Women and The Studio.
Laura’s Home is a long term residential facility for women and children. Last year, Laura’s Home provided 51,772 meals and shelter to 817 women and 532 children in emergency shelter and residency programs. We helped 77 women (and their families) as they worked through our 12-month residency program. 27 women have completed the in-house portion of their programs.
Spring Into Life Luncheon & Fashion Show will be held on  April 12, 2008 at Signature of Solon.  Tickets can be ordered through April 7th here!
Come and join us for an afternoon spring fashion and assist a good cause at the same time!
